God’s Plan of Salvation

Do you KNOW that if you were to die today, that you would go to Heaven? You CAN know!

God wants to forgive your sin and give you His gift of eternal life in Heaven!

“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that you may know that ye have eternal life…”  I John 5:13

Realize…The Fact of Sin.

“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”  Romans 3:23

The word “all” indicates that everyone has sinned.  No one was ever taught to lie, yet they have lied because it is their nature and God’s law has commanded that we do not bear false witness. Because of our sin we fall short of God’s glory which is in Heaven. The fact is you are a sinner by choice.

Realize…The Consequences of Sin.

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”  Romans 6:23

The wages (payment) due for sin is death or separation from God in Hell.  Because all have sinned, all deserve death in Hell separated from God eternally. Revelation 21:8 states, “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone…”  We must be willing to admit to God that we are guilty as a sinner and deserve Hell.

Realize…The Remedy for Sin.

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”  Romans 5:8

When Jesus died on the cross, shed his blood, was buried and rose again the third day he was paying our sin debt.  Jesus’ death purchased God’s gift of eternal life and was a substitutionary sacrifice paid for the forgiveness of our sins.  God proved his love by the gift of his Son.

Realize…Your Personal Response.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”  Romans 10:9-10, 13

God’s desire is for each individual to respond to his promise of eternal life.  The word “call” means to pray or ask.  If any person will admit they are guilty, deserve Hell and will turn from their sin (repent) and ask God for forgiveness and salvation, God will keep his promise, forgive their sin and give that person eternal life.

If you would like to trust Jesus as your Saviour and be willing to be forgiven of your sin, you must respond by calling upon him.

Prayer cannot save a person. It is a matter of the heart being humbled before God and realizing their need of salvation. Below is an example of the right attitude toward God in prayer for salvation.

“Dear Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner.  I am sorry for my sin and ask you for mercy and forgiveness through the blood of your Son, Jesus.  I believe He died for me and rose again.  I now accept Him as my Saviour. I believe your promise, that from this moment on, according to your Word, I will be your child and that you will reserve a home in Heaven for me.  Thank you for saving me, in Jesus’ name.  Amen”

Please let us know if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Saviour.
